The stackable rings incorporate unique elements of Birks’ signature collections

TORONTO, ON - October 3, 2017- Canada’s leading jeweller Birks will release a sparkly new standalone collection of rings, Birks Iconic, during the first week of November 2017. Incorporating unique elements of Birks’ signature collections – from Bee Chic to Birks Snowflake – the coveted new collection features something for every taste. Offering a wide price range, pieces start at $150 and cost up to $5,000 (CAD).

The Birks Iconic collection is made of stackable pieces in 18K rose, white or yellow gold, sterling silver and titanium, many adorned with sparkling clusters of diamonds. The rings range in size from size four to size 10 and are available in both midi and regular options. All the pieces are intended to complement each other and are designed for layering, allowing customers to personalize their look and tell a unique story. They are also just as eye-catching and conversation provoking on their own.  For men, Birks Iconic offers a few styles, including titanium bands.

“From the dazzling beauty of Canadian winters, to the master craftsmanship of the honeybee, with a playful splash and a naturally polished touch – all while embracing our exclusive motifs including the Muse design inspired by the architecture of our first Montreal boutique – Birks Iconic is a true representation of our journey,” said Eva Hartling, Vice President, Birks Brand and Chief Marketing Officer at Birks Group Inc. “It is a tribute to our roots and a declaration of our love for fine jewellery. It is also the first time all of our iconic Birks patterns are assembled in one collection, allowing one to create personal stories by selecting and combining the motifs of their choice for a unique statement.”

Birks Iconic is comprised of six honeycomb-inspired “Bee Chic” rings, five edgier “Rock & Pearl” rings, three dainty “Snowflake” rings, three staple “Muse” rings, three diamond-filled “Splash” rings, three thin and sparkly “Rosée du Matin” rings and three more casual “Pebble” rings.

The jewellery makes no-fail gifts both this holiday season and in the future, as the stackable nature of the pieces means you can never have too many of them (simplifying gift-giving).

The Birks story began four centuries ago when members of the Birks family were silversmiths in Sheffield, England. But the Birks brand truly came to life in 1879 when Henry Birks opened a jewellery boutique in the heart of Montreal, Canada. What began as one man’s dream became an iconic Canadian brand that is now distributed internationally. As Canada’s leading designer, manufacturer and retailer of fine gold, diamond and silver jewellery as well as timepieces and gifts, Birks and its iconic blue box have been part of Canadians’ love stories and special moments since 1879. Today, as Canada celebrates its 150th anniversary, Birks is also celebrating its very own love affair with the nation. Visit for more information.
